Evan will be providing us with an insight into his story and identifying key characteristics that have set him apart to become one of the best in the business.

  • Evan Stanley - Dogwood BX

    Evan Stanley has been in hospitality his entire life.

    In his early years he worked at his parents fine wine liquor store in the early 2000’s, as well as in their Motel in Cowra. He went on to work in some of Australia’s most prestigious hotels while completing a business degree at the International College for Tourism & Hotel Management in Manly.

    Evan has spent the better part of 15 years in Melbourne as part of some of Australia’s and the world’s best cocktail bar teams including:
    – Le Bon Ton – Collingwood (Time Out Melbourne voted Best New Bar 2015)
    – Black Pearl Fitzroy (ranked #7 in Drinks International’s Worlds 50 Best Bars 2013).

    He spent the majority of 2016 based in Fiji at the Intercontinental redesigning their cocktail menu and consulting with the team to relaunch their newly refurbished Karma Lounge.

    In 2013 Evan was awarded ALIA Australian Bartender of the Year, and Melbourne Time Out Bartender of the Year 2014.
